ProVision Communications strengthens commercial team

Leon Hardwick joins ProVision as Global Sales Manager for Wireless Planning, and David Smee joins to head up Marketing.

ProVision Communications has announced the appointment of Leon Hardwick as Global Sales Manager (Wireless Planning) and David Smee as Marketing Manager, two newly created positions within the rapidly growing company. Leon Hardwick joins ProVision from AIRCOM International, where he was Product Sales Manager for its Planning and Optimisation product lines. Prior to this he held sales and business development positions at companies in the IT sector. At ProVision he will be responsible for developing sales opportunities for its ProPhecy™ wireless network planning and optimisation toolset.

“Leon’s background and experience in selling cellular and WiMAX network planning tools will be invaluable in helping ProVision develop its business for ProPhecy,” said David Sykes, CEO of ProVision. ”He will be a welcome addition to the team.”

David Smee has held senior product management and marketing positions within leading technology companies, including Toshiba, NDS and Orange. David holds a BA in Product Design and an MA in Marketing.

“As Marketing Manager at ProVision, David’s role will be to push forward the strategic marketing function and to implement the marketing communications plan for the Company,” said David Sykes. “We expect the next year to be a very exciting period in the growth of the business, and David has the ideal credentials to help us present the latest developments to our customers.”

Both Leon and David will be based at ProVision Communications’ headquarters in Bristol, UK.
